well, i have finally found a LHS with a track too, so im gonna start racing my rusty, and was wondering, what batt pack do you suggest i should get, because i know my NiCd 1500's are crap and low runtimes so i know i need to upgrade on packs and any other options?? like tires or something and do you guys have any techniques for me, i have some what of a little track and i have gotten pretty good about leveling out and can land on the front tires of back tires if i want to, thanks in advance

the best racing batteries are the matched ib4200's, or gp4300's. Since this is just LHS racing, you could easily get by with a lower mah, like ib3600's, or even gp3300's. If your races are longer or if you have a higher-draw setup, a higher mah might be the best way to go. Pro-line makes the best tires. check them out (http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html). Your best bet would be bowties or holeshots in m3 compound. I hope this helps.

What motor are you running? Most tracks wont let you run the Stinger motor in most classes.

no, matched batts. I hate to tell you this, but for racing, the titan 12t will probably not fit the bill. Check out some of Team Orion's motors. If you can afford it, the Revolution v2's will certainly do the job. If you have the xl-5, you might want to upgrade that too, unless you are racing stock or 19t.

i am currently waiting for the XL-10s to get in stock, and have been thinking of a team orion Formula SV2 pro BB 12t double, what about that motor? AND i was wondering whats a pretty decent charger for around 50-60 bucks?
