Well I got her done! I'm not too impressed with the Parma window masks, or the decals that come with the body, but she still turned out well! The only decals it came with were the grill, headlights, and the taillights. I didn't even use the supplied taillights because they looked silly. I had to make the Ford logos and the reason why the one on the grill looks like it's behind it is because it's on transparency paper. I need to cut a oval out in the grill or something... But other than that I'm pretty happy with it. Not my best paint job, but the detail looks good. Especially with that rear tire mount I made . She's mounted on my Sledge Hammer. Before you say it, I know that the body is really high. The fact that those fender flairs stick out so much makes me mount it that high. Otherwise the tires would contact the body. At any rate, I think it looks fine anyway! I've seen 1:1 broncos with lifts that made them look like that, so it's not totally abnormal!
This was modeled after my parents '96 Bronco that they sold a while back... That was a pretty cool looking car, so I thought I'd paint one for one of my RC's!

Hehe... Yeah... When we had that 1:1 Bronco, everyone would say that too! Lol... I'm planning on scanning a pic of it in front of our boat from back then! My dad misses that Bronco... Even though he has an '04 F-350 diesel now... He still misses that Bronco. He had it ordered the way he wanted it...
Thanks for the props! I still have to trim those body posts in the rear though. I made it so that I only have to pull five body clips and I can remove the entire long body mount set I made. For beating up the stock body of course! I don't plan on being hard on this one. She'll be on in the stationary photo shoots and when she's sitting on my RC rack, but an action photo shoot will be a stretch... I'd just hate to mess that thing up!
Think this truck could get into RCCA with a nice outdoor shot? I'd like to go for truck of the month, but I may have to use my E-Maxx and custom trailer for my Villain to do that! Maybe the trailer behind the Sledge Hammer? Hmm...

Yeah... I still don't know. Back in the day I was really good with my bodies. I had one for bashing and one for my race body. The race body never took much damage because I could get around the track fairly clean. Then I stopped racing and dropped the whole race body thing. I'd like to try and keep one body in really nice shape for photo runs and such. The most recent 'Pede body I did is my favorite since the fade I did was very good IMO. Too bad the jumps on my track that I made this past summer are eating it up! I'll probably repair it since it's mainly around the body post area. Then I've got two more bodies to paint. Both are the same (F-150's), but I'll probably leave one in the package for some years down the road no matter how much I want to get my air brush out to paint it lol!

Good looking body but I do agree that Parma really lacks with detail.

Quite sure... It's not the Pro-Line one... It's one made by Parma which is extremely close to the Pro-Line body! I think it's discontinued though... That's why I have two :p...
This will probably be the next body I do for the Hammer and it will be for bashing. I will probably paint it a solid blue (the blue I like to use all of the time!) and decal it like the picture... I miss the old monster truck days... There are just too many rules with what they do now. I miss the old car crushin', drag racing days! Those were monster trucks!
Put some LEDs in those fog lights!
