New Race Place
I have established a new NAMBA/IMPBA 1/8 mile electric course in Charlotte County Florida. This is a permanent marker course, so you can run at your leisure. It is located on public land and approved by the county. It is located at the Charlotte County Sports Park, previous spring training home for the Texas Rangers.
Who wants to run?

I live in Ft. Myers! How can I get info?! I'm not a racer (yet) just a RTR newbie really but I'd love to check it out and maybe work up to it. Are you gonna have any FE or just gas/nitro? You may already know but on Sun. mornings here in Ft. Myers some guys meet and run at a lake right off of Six Mile Cypress. It's informal but it seems like some fast dudes, pretty much all gas/nitro. I might be able to help you get the word out. :D
It is an Electric course. The Nitro guys usually run a 1/6 mile course. Pond is located behind Charlotte County Stadium on SR 776.
Where is the pond on Six Mile Cypress?

my neighbors little pond.. hence the repairs needed, lol.. im actually in NFM.. six mile is a bit of a drive for me, im prolly closer to ray.. im between Del prado Ext. & the county line.. the sticks :) i wish i had more property, we only have 2 acers, 1 with the house being built and the other already being used by cows, it has a small pond, too small actually.. its only about 75 X 55.. prolly couldnt even turn the SV in it, lol
once the boats finished im gonna look for a new pond to play in, maybe out in the woods..
Another beautiful pond is Webb Lake at Babcock ranch. Just 1 mile east of 75 on Tucker's Grade.
almost forgot, NO fuel at Webb Lake, electric only.

cool, I have been here 20 years and never gone east on TG, just west to 41, lol.. I see a feild trip coming on :D
Is it a park, or rec area? or just a pond?
State Rec Area. $3.00 entrance fee.
