I hope you don't find this inapproiate, I don't have many friends and I consider you guys my friends.
Today I lost my best friend to kidney failure, his name was Bossman. 9year old Mini-Pincher who I gave to my wife for our first Christmas after being married in 1997.
He love to bark at horses and baseball players who appeared on TV. He love hikiing and peeing on everything when my wife would faithfully take him out for a walk after she got home every day from work.
I've been in the Military and work for the Sheriff and I've seen it all, but this takes the cake......It's hitting me pretty hard.
Thanks for listing I feel a litter bit better having done this.........

I'll say a prayer for Bossman :( ! I have lost many dogs and it's never easy. Actually the older I become the harder it is for me to cope with losing a pet (child). I typed child because that's how i look at my guys

Man I don't know what I'd do if I lost my Golden. I feel for you. Hang in there. The best way to deal with the loss of a dog is to go get another pup asap. IMHO.
