Hi guys. I just thought i would ask for some oppinions. I just bought a Proline 72 Chevy body. It's the long bed one that fits the 3.3 Revo, Savage, LST and so on. My primary color is going to be Lime Green, not to be confused with Fasflourescent green, or highlighted green. If you go to prolines website; it the green that is on this particular body in their pics.

So here's my dilema: I am designing this body for ME and am having a tough time deciding if i want a slick racing theme or a more realistic mt theme. I intend on using this strictly for the track. Any ideas?

How about a fire truck? With racing stripes.

closest i could get was their "later" truck, the AM/PM rocket.

Thanks for the link. I actually like that desing. It something close to what i was thinking about minus the logo. Hmmm...

Here's a quick pic of the design i have going. It's a work in progress so doen't kill me. On the front hood you can see a classic fire design on one side and a weird tribal-ish design on the other. I'm having a tuff time desiding what i want...

It looks cool as is, I say roll with it and make it a split paint job, two paint jobs in one thing. I like the shovel too!

Ok so i'll keep the shovel, although that was just me goofing. I don't think i'll do a split design. I've done them in the past and never have had them come out looking decent. Hmmm...

Well give it another shoot and see what you come up with.

Even better yet you can do your true rip to make it look like the one paint job is pealing away to show the other paint job.

These trucks look best with old school paint jobs. Here is one I did a while back. Body was the older Parma one though.

sounds like you answered your own question, however racy designs like the one you drew look out of place on a vintage truck, IMHO.

I love the one Proline did for the C-10 add. It is clean, classy, and GREEN :D

Thanks guys for all the replies. SO far this is what i have in mind: Lidz you are correct this is an old school body and a racing design on it would look out of place. I love the spam though...

then the c10 body is a killer paint job . Simple but NICE. I'm gonna stick with the green, and stay away from any fire deisgns. Hmmmmm.... Still thinking
