I have a 60 size sukohi arf I am putting together.
I have no plans or instruction book.
Is there a way to determine the center of gravity on this model?

A lot of manufacturers have manuals online. Did you check their website yet?

Most (and I repeat MOST) planes center of gravity is 1/3 the wing cord back from the wing leading edge. In other words, if the wing cord is 9", you c/g for the plane should be at 3" back from the leading edge. (on the bulk of my kit-builds, this spot has proven to be directly under the main wing spar......but I'm a glider guy)

It's always safer to be a little nose-heavy, I'm sure you know.

I just emailed the Cermak, they made the kit.
I didn't see it on line. The kit is at least 5 years old.

Here's their phone 562.906.0808. Why not call?

Well, Cermark replied with their 90 size arf.
They said that they discontinued the 60 size years ago and have no info on the plane that I have.
I'll have to figure something out before I fly it.
I'll balance it at the main spar, if nothing else.
Thanks, everyone.
