Hello, i enjoy reading each month your articles. I have a question, a
put a saito 82 in a spitfire of worldmodels and i wonder the kind of
propeller that would work best because it is a warbird (scale). The same
question i have for a saito 125 that i want to put on a AT-Texan of hangar
9. And i realy donīt now the diameter and pitch for these engines.

I dit not specificate the warbirds in the past e-mail (about the propellers)
Itīs a spitfire 60 1/7 worldmodels, and AT6-Texan 60 of hangar 9.

Greetings and a happy new year.

Pedro D.,

Dear Sr. D.,

Which size propeller you use on your aircraft will depend on their weight. If you build light you can use higher pitch props. If heavy, you should use lower pitch. My recommendation for the Saito FA-82/Spitfire would be to start with a 12 x 8 and a 14 x 8 for the FA-125/AT-6. Preferably Zinger props if you use wood and APC if you use Composite.

Best regards,

Clarence Lee
