this works good for my indoor track... but its at a compromise between torque and top speed, you could gear down the pinion for a little more torque

If into mod, get a higher turn and lower wind. if its really small, go for a 16x3, if its pretty small, get a 14x2 or 14x3. If its a stock class, run a P2K Pro. Im not familiar with the T3 gearing, so I cant recommend it. For mod motors, look in the instruction manual and see what tooth it recommends for that motor then drop it 1-2 teeth, or 1 tooth and one or 2 teeth on the spur. Hope I helped some

Here is my question...Running on an indoor dirt track with a few small bumps and jumps. The track is very tight with no real straightaway. I need quick acceleration, and not any top end speed. What motor and gearing would work the best for this? Stock and/or modified.

TIA,

I run on a tight clay track And I use a P2K stock motor. I ran 22 pinion,and a 87 spur.
Works great.
