I just got a Tamiya High Lift and I purchased a Novak GTB 6.5 Velocity Brushless system. My question is has anyone else used this setup? and also will it have enough torque to rock climb with. The truck has a 3 speed transmission.

It will be plenty powerful to rock climb with, but that motor is WAY faster than what most people would use in that truck. The 13.5 or 10.5 Novak motors would be more appropriate.

I agree with SS Pede. Any velociti motor will be pretty ridiculous in a crawler. I would go for the 10.5 if you're gonna use it for general driving and crawling. If you're gonna be strictly crawling I'd go for the 13.5. If you will be driving around on gravel and driveways more than crawling you COULD go for a velociti - but It might be too fast for a crawler. I have heard that the 13.5 has massive torque and a stock-like top end which is what would be ideal for a crawler. Check that out.

There is a Crawler System that has more "torque" then you'll need.
Crawler Software too.
