lambo pearl paint... where o where to get some

I have a lamborgini I am fixin to paint and I want to do it in that nice pearl yellow or orange that lamborghini puts on all their cars, but I can't seem to find the colors, does anyone know where I can get it or how I can recreate it? thanks!

Your best bet is to get some parma faskolors and mix them up and test spray until you get the right combination.

Faskolor has some nice colors but the colors your thinking of are not called pearls. They are more a sherbet metalic. LIke the green lambo uses is called Faskolor Key Lime. Faskolor 40302 Orange is the orange that you are looking for. I'm not so sure about the yellow.

If you really want some depth in the colors, check out SpazStix paints. When you back them with different colors, light or dark, you really get different results. Same goes for Faskolor translucents. Experiment on some old pop bottles before you shoot the real body.

I do tests by spraying a color and then holding a strips of colored construction paper behind it. You can see what effect a white will have versus a black, or a red, or blue. It makes final color choices easy, and let's you see options you may not have thought of.

Createx AutoAir paints have a great selection. I'm sure they have a color that would be very similar.

Thanks guys, I'll try the 40302 first as it is the easiest way out of this box... I will look at the others soon... I cant dream of painting a lambo multi colors, so this will be a single color job.... but I ll post some pics when she's all done! (to show the color)
