because of one is RTR and the other is kit, then i cant do comparing??

cant we compare the durability, the stock engine performance, etc etc?

its a kit, people throw in their own gear which makes them all different. even a different servo makes a huge difference.

personally tnx 5.2r is da bomb!

the tnx's fx32 has a claimed 3hp and revs to 33000rpm the savages if ur goin the kit with the k4.6 ho (high output) has a claimed 2.95hp and revs to 39500rpm im not to sure of the figures for the k4.1 that comes stock on the savage x rtr.

But if ur looking for a lightweight bashable truck that has the best power to weight ratio out there at the moment and can handle down at the track the tnx 5.2r would be the choice.

If ur looking for a truck that can withstand serious heavy abuse and dont mind a bit of weight, slower speed or less handling (the savage x is supposed to handle better than the original savvys) than the savage would be the choice.

All in all both are great trucks, each one does some things better than the other and both can be bashed pretty hard, but the savage would last more if u bash before u snapped or cracked something, being that the savvy is built to be bashed and the tnx is a lightweight truck built more to the racing side of the coin.

kinda like if u wanna see if ur truck will jump and make it over ur double story house or take it down to the local moto park and seeing if it will make the 100ft double most likely wont and will crash over itself many times.

The tnx would be able to handle it but not constantly before something would break on it, the savvy would take alot more before something broke on it. If ur a really hard basher and just sling the thing offa anything without worry sumthign will eventually break on both, but the savvy being built to bash hard would withstand more before something would break.
Or it would be something small that breaks on the savvy as oppose to maybe snapped A arm on the tnx.

Something will break on both if ur a hard basher but its all relative to how hard u drive ur trucks and wat u do to them.

the tnx 5,2r is much faster than the savvy and its also lighter meaning more speed.
