Ok hear is the deal I bought this truck form my Snap-On tool man and what I'm looking for is a set of used aluminum bead lock wheels to fit a 40 series tire. But the drive is a 17mm hex.I checked e-bay and nothing. So i probably got screwed on this deal who knows. It's a smart tech tornado 1/6 scale. So if anyone has any wheels or suggestion's let me know.
Thanks Dan

Axial makes 17mm hex 40 series sized beadlock rims and they even have different bead rings for them. there plastic rims with aluminum rings

Here are some pics of my truck to get a better idea of what your looking at.
I love Axial's beadlocks. I plan on using some tax return to get the black chrome 40 Series set.

Looks like a cross between an LST and Savage to me. More like an 1/8 scale though.

That it could be. The only thing I was familier with is the T and E Maxx. But every thing seems a little bigger. I dont know about better but bigger lol.

Look for anything that fits a truggy. 17mm hex is very common. Imex makes some stuff for their own tires in 17mm that would be as wide and tall. The other option is to get 23mm adapters for your truck. Keep us posted on durability of your truck. I have wanted to get one because they are cheaper than other brands but haven't seen any real user reviews.

Well put it this way I have ran 4 tanks of fuel threw it and had to lock the rear diff. already. Becouse it stripped the gears and broke the pins. As for the moter it run's good and hard. Tranny has no reverse other than that not bad. Would like to find something to match it with for parts. My lhs sucks they did not know squat
