My question is about Inline & Offset S&R systems on cats. Is one better than the other & why?

an inline rudder will make turning in either direction equal. it will scrub a little of bit of speed, but not too much. if you race in the offshore classes, it's important to be able to turn left as well as right.

Thanks Doc. I was trying to find out what was the best setup for my converted BlackJack. I plan on running it in LSO. It currently has my adaptation of the TL inline system. I have just done away with the 1/8th prop shaft and strut for a 3/16th setup. I have yet to test it due to lack of liquid water around here @ the moment. Running an off shore course I will deal with the extra drag and take the better handeling. I will go off set in my next brushless sport cat.
Thanks again,
SJFE
