I think it looks somewhat like a Tamiya. The tires look like they came from a Clod Buster.:)

Would you not have some sort of instruction manual hanging round?
How old is that thing, i agree with it looking a bit like a tamiya.

with the 4wd shaft, and what appears to be a verticle trans, my bet would be on an old MRC or something on that course...MRc, Mauri, ect.

the gear box looks familiar.MRC made a HighRoller Mauri made a Big Bear about the time the Clod came out. I thunk this is one of it. But it not a Tamiya.

Let me just say thank you to all that replied. I have looked it over and cant find any type of manufacturers stamp. And I picked it up at an auction years ago therefore no manual. I have included a side view if this helps. Originally I thought tamiya as well (because of the shocks) but couldnt find a match. So thanks in advance to whom ever knows what this is.

hmmmm,.... I did some digging, MRP made the high roller, i remember they had a similar chassis, and would float. There was also the royal crusher, and the Varicom Big grizzly. I cant find pics tho, because those moon disc wheels woudl really give it away.

Thank You z-man for the leads. Ive been looking through tons of old car action magazines and I just cant find it anywhere. You say its maybe a floater though huh. Ill have to look into that as well. :)
