Will the castle link that comes with the mamba Max system work with the mamba system? Or are they different connectors?

They are different. The Mamba Max has the USB interface built in and only requires a USB cable(included with the Mamba Max) The Mamba 25 requires the Castle Link interface which plugs into the radio connector.
