my t-maxx 2.5 has a little trouble idleing i think its because it has been sitting since thanks giving with fuel in it but when i bought it i drained that fuel fired it right up and tuned it it runs great i just cant figure the idleing i could turn up the idle screw high would that work and last thing it really only seems to do it when the tank gets to about 1/4 of the tank

It sounds like you might have a cracked fuel tank, wich will bleed the pressure off of the fuel going into your carb.= no fuel pressure for idle. The reason I say that is my tank was cracked and it had a hard time starting and idleing at lower fuel levels. Also ive found that when all else fails return your low speed needle back to the stock position wich is flush with the race around it, then get it running and adjust you idle screw from there.

well no cracks in the tank and it starts fine with a less than a full tank in it and its the same when i set the needle to factory settings

Will it start & run with glow igniter still on? Reason for question- My 3.3 ran great one day and couldnt keep it running the next unless I held the glow plug igniter on. Found my problem was bad glow plug. It was cooling off to fast after start up. It acted like it had no compression or clogged f/f.
