Hey guys, haven't had a RC since the blackfoot so bare with me for a couple questions.

Just got the new stampede and had a couple questions

1) Bought the RPM Bumper and it rubs the tires, is there a way to adjust it so it doesn't

2) Does the Truck always make a beeping type sound when driving, I've never had anything with an ESC, so not sure if this is normal.

I've only driven it for a quick couple minutes as I'm waiting for my bearings etc to come before I beat it up a little. Thanks in advance

you should be able to put the bumper in the first 2 slots and it should hold just fine ... To be honest I find that the RPM bumper just acts like a huge snow plow for when you climb things ... The stock bumper usually works just fine ... What type of Pede did you buy ????? XL5 or an older one ...... If its the XL5 I think it comes with bearings .... As far as the ESc goes we need to know what type you bought and go from there ...... Glad to see you back in the hobby ..... Your gonna love your new Pede ..... Check out the Stampede threads in the forum to get quicker info on your new bash master .... ;)

Thanks for the reply, I bought the new XL5 version. The ESC is stock, I bought the RPM bearing carriers for the front and back and teflon bearings, figured those would be an upgrade. Thanks for the reply

The stock bearings are great and should last you a while ..... The carriers are ok too but just for sake of saving you some cash remember this ...... Upgrade once and buy whats needed and try not to buy it until it breaks or you cant stand it anymore ;)

The larger rpm axle carriers were a good buy (providing traxxas still uses the smaller ones) I used to go through the small bearings every run. Considering they were $4 each, the rpm setup saved me alot of money.
The rpm bumper isn't that great. I had one for a few hours until I hit a fence and it blew appart. Doesn't look as nice as stock either.
Only thing I ever broke on my front end was one c-hub with the dozens of hours I put on it.

I got one of those trucks and all I cant keep it straight. The truck has too much power, its close to as fast as my Savage 25. I am running 7 cells on the stock set up with the torque pinion. I heard the high speed pinion was a no..no..??
As for upgrades, I havent yet.....the stock is just fine.
