I have a Hyperion EOS1210i charger that I bought for a li-po 6000mah 2S maxamp battery. Ive never had either, and I am a bit confused about the charging. I set the charger to charge to %98 as it suggested. I set the charger for a 2S 6000mah battery and I set the charge at 1 amp then later at 1.7amp. When I was charging It, I watched the battery % get to 92% but then when I checked it later again It was at 83% then seen it drop to 82%....I thought that was odd...I checked the battery temp by hand...it was pretty hot to the touch, so i thought I better unplug it...then it droped down to 81%. I unplugged it at that point. First-am I charging it at to high of a amp? 2nd-I am wondering why it went up...then down...normally any other battery Id say if it is warm...its charged...but according the the charger it wasnt at full charge yet. 3rd...am I doing somthing wrong. Should I set it up the charger diffrent?

Was it in a cycle mode where it charged and then discharged the battery? Without reading through the manual that's the only thing I can think of.

I'm not familiar enough with that charger to tell you what's going on. Check this thread:

lipo batteries should NOT be hot at the end of charge..slightly warm perhaps but never hot.
