Hey all, I just bought a Nissan Titan Xmod that I upgraded with the 4x4 package and the lift kit. My problem is that it has decent speed, but very little torque after the 4x4 conversion, and I want to crawl it like I do my Mini-Giant (albeit on a smaller scale), but I'm not sure how to get more torque out of this yet. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Also, would the bearing upgrade help that much in a vehicle this small? Thanks in advance.

you could do bearing that willl let it roll better.you can also check out websites like atomic mods or other 1s like that and get an upgraded motor i know theres 1 thats really torquey...other then that its still an xmod so articulation and clearence are not to great...but you can always try.

replace the motor with a small servo modded to turn 360 degrees and the circuit board removed, throw on a gear glued to the servo horn, cut the bed out to have clearance. Good to go........ :D

Would that mod be like a gear reduction setup?

You can change the gearing in the X-mods.....

Yes, bearings will help.

For torque upgrades, check out a crest spinbrush motor. People take those magnets out and stuff them into the stock can; the result is more torque at a sacrifice of some speed.

You could also drop a few bucks on neo magnets instead for the stock motor (major torque there).

I suggest looking at aftermarket motors (as mentioned, I think atomic or whomever has a motor that's torquey and specific to the xmods trucks).

Crest spinbrush motor? Wow. Who thinks of this stuff? Sounds cool. Also, where can I buy neo magnets at?

Yes. The spinbrush motors!:D

Neo magnets you can probably get from atomic xmods or whatever. Do a search for xmod motor upgrades and see what turns up.:)

Hey, is there some trick to getting the 4wd kit to work? I have a hummer and i can't get it to work, the medium shaft is too long, but the short one is too short. It is really stupid.
