View Full Version : aluminum clutch shoes

i got a ofna dominator yesterday i tried starting it and when it started i put it on the ground and it shut off....now has anyone had this problem.... so for the hell of it i took the cb off to look at the shoes and they were in about 20 little pieces..should i go back with the original clutch shoes?

I would get a good set of carbon shoes. They last longer than the alloy or stock ones. If you plan to race it, and you want something grabby, then go with the alloy shoes. You'll definitly have to do more maintenance to the alloy ones though.

Yes with the alloys, every gallon u need to replace them usually, and the CB wears too and needs to be replaced. And like 4D said, they wear on carbon shoes is considerably less, and cost less as well.
