New Member looking for a shop

hey i just made an account here on radiocontrolzone and i've been lookin around for some stores where i can but some kits to get started on this new hobby. so i guess u can call me a noob, but i cant find any good stores around here (MONTREAL). Any recommendations of stores and also models for me to start off. i would eventually like to build my own car/truck from scratch.

As for hobbyshops, stay away from Distribution Aux Modeliste in Laval. Serge, the owner, is a pure-breed jackass.

I buy from WWW.NDHELI.COM based in the east end of Montreal. Great prices and awesome service. Nick sells helis, cars, trucks, and motorcycles. If he doesn't have something in stock, he can order it for you.

You thinking of starting with a nitro or electric powered RC? Onroad or offroad?
