I think we should all go sit outside their office until they start making it again. Go on ahead and we will all catch up.

Actually, if you are wanting a couple, buy them from UltimateHobbies.com and save some money while they still have some. Otherwise, go out and buy the new replacement when it comes out. There will always be something better out there if you can wait a few months.

Im 100% sur Tamiya is going to release something very close to the tlt, could even be the tlt in 1/10scale like it should have been all along. Just be ready for higher prices. Tamiya has figured out how hot these tlt's really are and they are going to capitalize on it.
Just my .02 cents.

Did anyone get one from hobby people that advertised it for 69.99?

Um, read my last post where they are at ultimatehobbies.com for that price.

got mine from hobby people for the same price 69.99 plus shipping. total of $150 for two so it came to $75 each. Not to bad, I could not bring myself to buy from the lhs, they wanted $100. They have gotten all my money for all the other parts, tranny, radio gear, tires, wheels.... all that good stuff.

I remember a few rc car action magazines back, there was a prototype stretched tlt and it was a 1/10 scale rock crawler. They might be making that. But if they think that i will buy a high lift for the axles, they are wrong.

They brought it back already. Check there site. It's Back...They listened....The max Climber is still gone, but it was crap.

Why would you have it sit in the box? I think they should bring back one of the old trucks, like the Bruiser or hilux or montaineer. I would totally buy one. And i'm sure a lot of other people would also.

I would imagine they'll have a pre-done 1/10 scale crawler to be used with the maxx bodies like most of the crawlers I see recently. I think it'd be cool to have one pre-done but it does kinda kill the custom aspect of it.

Do you mean an rtr or just a 1/10 scale kit rock crawler? I douby tamiya will make rtr's besides the nitros. But they might eventually come out with a good rock crawler.

From what I can tell, most every crawler is different, everyone has their own style, and type, scale, 2.2, that type of thing, a bunch of rtr crawlers would be good for the hobby but kill the custom side, that so cool as well.

I don't mean RTR, but a kit that will give you a 2.2 scale crawler without buying any other parts. It'd be easier but it'd take out a lot of the customization that makes these things so cool right now.

Yeah, I agree. Get a kit that makes use of Maxx length bodies and scale axles.
Custom? The all look the same once everyone has bought the same conversion kit to go with their TLT kit anyway so I don't really see what the complaint is there.

the complaint is their will be no way to get a scale looking 1/10 scale axle.. without buying a F350... the TLT is a cheap way to get started..
