Just wanted to post a few pics of it! I have my first comp on March 17th so we will see how it does. A breakdown of what it has:

BMVii chassis
TLT axles
Pede tranny
Metal yokes
Front DIG
Hitec 645MG steering servo
Standard servo for DIG
Super Rooster
55 turn lathe motor
12 tooth pinion
RC4WD Super Narrow Beadlocks w/ Moabs w/ Airsoft bb's inside them
Custom 7 cell battery pack
Discontinued Proline FJ40 body

The pics were taken today but they are before I switched to the SR and lathe motor. I had a brushless outrunner setup in it at the time.

Build thread is here:

Here is version 1 of the front DIG(this is an old pic and it is still basically the same with a few small changes)

Nice truck, but I have a question. Can someone explain to me the point of a dig setup? I might be naive, but I would assume that full-time AWD would be best.

4wd is best...most of the time. DIG helps with the turning radius. With the rear dissconnected it will turn tigher. Also going down steep inclines it will have less of a tendancy to flip because the rear isnt getting power. Same when going up as long as the front tires have enough traction to pull you up.

I dont have vid of it yet but I did run it in my yard a bit to make sure its all set and let me say it is a GREAT setup. Depending on the course anybody not running DIG will be at a disadvantage IMO.

^ Nice :)

The outrunner power was awesome and the runtimes were great! I just am used to lathe motors and I seem to prefer them. I might end up selling the Mamba 25/ Revolver 2 combo, im not sure yet!

Very nice.. can you video the dig set up working? Maybe I am slow but I can't seem to picture how it engages and disengages the drive shaft

That rig looks great. I can't wait to compete against it.
