A friend of mine's father passed on to him an interesting old diesel engine. It's an .075 O.K.Cub Diesel. It's in its original box and appears to be in perfect working order. We believe it has never been run. Is there anyone out there that can provide historical data on this engine? From all we can tell it's a 50's vintage engine. Would it be worth anything?

You might want to go to eBay and run a search on this engine, while making the search specific to completed auctions. That would provide you with a range of prices that such engines have sold for previously.

The engine is an .074, not an .075.

I ran the glow version of this engine and it ran very well. A friend gave me the .049 Diesel engine over thirty years ago and it was a great running engine too. I would imagine that it still has a pretty good following.

Sorry I can't help you with more info. Good luck.
