I have a couple of zooms that have been on the shelf for a while but am getting them back out. I also bought a blade cx to get my thumbs back and just to have fun indoors.

My question is after a couple of years off...how does the blade cp compare to the older zoom.

My zoom went to the box while under construction during a move and didnt come out. It is heavily upgraded w/ brushless motor, high end gyro and battery combination.

Have things changed so much that a new blade can beat the older zoom? Like I said I have been away for a couple of years and looks like some new birds are out there. The T-rex semed to have survived and was the competitor for the zoom/shogun back then.

Thanks folks

The T-Rex is pretty much the standard now for that size. The Blade CP (and CP Pro) are very workable machines. I do not care for the performance of the all-in-one electronics, but it is hard to argue with the price.
