Go to the contact page of the website and check out the address. Plug it into mapquest or something and grab the directions.

It's approx. 27mile south of State College Pa on route 26 or 3 mile north of Huntingdon Pa on route 26
The track is very close to Raystown Lake.

Hope to see you out sometime.

2 or 3 to make a class????

Right now we are going to let 2 Run if thats all that show up for a class.

Also we may combine two classes if they both have say 2 entries and are simaliar in speed and type. Just to make the race day better for everyone.
But it's still up to the racers in those classes if they would mind running together or not. So we will ask the racers first before making the call.

Hey Mad Hope to see you down sometime. You will really like the track now!!

Jeff,

What are the rules for monster truck class. I am interested in running that class. I got 2 revo's the one has the os .18tm the other is a 3.3 revo stock motor. Is there a motor limit or do you have to run the stock motor. My nephew is probably going to run the stadium truck class. The buggy class would be exciting but I think you probably got it covered see I know a little about your racing career. Been doing it a little while I bet  . Does banana ring a bell wish I could have ran there. I got into RC about 7 years ago my nephew got me hooked. I give him heck all the time for doing it $$$$$. Well hope to make it to the track.

All did you by chance graduate from SHCHS ? :D

As of now there are not a whole lot of rules. Mainly Monster Truck is just that usually they divide them by small block and big block but we don't see the need to seperate these classes yet. The results for yesturday were proof as the Top qualifier was a big block but a revo with a 2.5 qualified second. So for now we will keep them together until we see a need to rethink this.

As for the years I've been at it probably like 21 years now so yeah I have a couple under my belt. The buggy is alot of fun but I enjoy running 1/10scale as well so I will more than likely run 2wd stadium truck with electric and gas.

As for the last question I don't know if I want to admit to that.

Get the GTB's and get some track time. Can't wait to see you on the track with the 1/10 scale I'll probably race this class as well. I have to finish putting one together.
BTW I'm just joking about the speeder get what you want but really you could run a brushed motor for a little bit if you had to, cause I know you have a least one speeder that should work, out of the oval car.

Are you using the 23mm HD hex or the stock 14mm. Hate asking all the questions but I want to be ready when I get there. I have not raced my revo's yet and want to know if the aluminum 14mm hexes will hold up. I am going to run either my 3.3 revo with the stock motor or my 2.5 revo with the os .18tm. Probably try them both out I like the longer chassis on the 3.3.

Jeff I wanted to find more info on the Diff in the revo cause I am thinking about trying it and I and I found this ROAR Rules 9.4.4.2 Monster Trucks are defined by fully compressing the vehicle’s suspension and measuring a minimum of 1.5” from the flat surface to the underside of the engine. Two or three speed gear reduction transmissions are required. Differentials residing inside the transmission are permitted. All reverse gearing must be disabled for racing.

Great track, glad we made the trip even though I only got to run a lap or so, first time for 2 new trucks and only a little wiring issue and a servo that went south, not too bad, considereing they neither truck had seen a battery till we got there. and the servo was noone fault, just old used up equipment.

So after a servo swap and a lil dremel action on the wiring plug everything seems to be good as gold.

see you guys this weekend hopefully, she dont have her sech. yet. Keep your fingers crossed

Hey Guys really hated leaving the race early Saturday. I was not doing to bad I wanted to stay but my leg would not cooperate. After a 4 hour long wait in the ER I found out that I ruptured a tendon in my lower leg there were 2 possible ones the Achilles tendon and there was another one but I can not remember what he called it. I need to see a specialist this week to determine which one it was and schedule surgery if needed. Not sure when I will make it back but I will be back dang I sound like Arnold :D . Anyway you guys have fun and I hope to be back very soon

Jim

Jim,

I've been using the stock tires that come with the eight so far they work OK but I'm sure their are better one ot there. I think CR had some holeshots and his car felt really good tire wise.
Not to sure on the inserts but if CR check the forum maybe he can Let you know.

I think the 10th scale stadium truck is going to get exciting (at least for the marshals). Breaking news from CNN is telling me that Snair's racing has a new GT2 on its way to the garage. And a GT2 driver (Nate :teacher: ) is going to fill the other driver (me) in on a set up now if I just learn to drive  not sure if this story is true but I do have a really big grin on my face. :D

Hey Jeff got the 2 speed problem fixed in the aftershock upgraded it to LST2 stuff and also noticed a thrust bearing missing as well. no more slipping now just got to get the motor dialed in. The Revo is waiting on a new HT steering servo ,receiver pack and a top secret piece of electronics

Also just in the new room Snair's racing is looking for a full time marshal someone on the team is injure pron not sure who that is :o

Well I think I got some good news I went to the specialist and he said I tore a muscle and not a tendon so I won't need surgery that is good news to me. I just have to keep weight off of it for a while . Can you guys put in an elevator to get up in the tower (just kidding) I really suck going up steps on crutches no wait I suck on them no matter where I go ? :D

The Revo is ready to go, got some mods done I think I got the turning much better seems like it faded in a run. I guess I won't know till I get to run it. Nate helped me Break in the GT2 just needs a little tweaking . It is probably going to be a little while till I race again but might stop up Saturday just to smell the NITRO burning , you can get addicted to that stuff :p

Rumor has it there is already a dirt oval in Huntingdon....well close to there anyway, I am not that familar w/RT26 but I know this track is on 26 and so is the oval. If you know where 26 intersects with the road that goes over the mountain into martinsburg (36 maybe?) its about 3-5 miles past that intersection on 26.....Their first practice is going to be Sunday evening around 5pm (the 15th) follow 26 till u see a sign for "Dans Auto Body" then pull in his driveway and the track is in the back yard....from what i am told it is good enough to run tourning cars on, but SUnday is a run what ya brung test and tune day....even has AIR CONDITIONED PITS!!!!

What does the 1/8 scale turn-out look like for this up coming season?

I have been running a T4 with a Maxamps 6000 lipo and an Orion 7.5 brushless motor all winter and love it...never took the motor out of my truck!!!! The battery is awesome I charge it after practice and between the 2 and 3 qual. and I can run over 30 minutes easy! I also run a B44 with a 6000 lipo with an Orion 6.5 brushless and I just ran it over 20 minutes with still 2000mah left in the pack. Brushless and lipo hopefully would jump start the return of electric racing in the area again! If any one has questions on lipo and brushless feel free to ask...
