Hi,

I am looking for a good (and inexpensive) intro RTF heli.

I found one that sounds good...the
Ikarus G2 Carboon

It comes with flight simulation software, and sounds like a good into package. Here is one vendor's site that tells about it:

Any one have any experience/comments on this model?

Thanks,

David

I would strongly suggest NOT to buy this one as a first helicopter. Ok it may be cheap, and in the hands of an experienced pilot it's not a bad machine, but it's horrible to learn to fly with a Carboon because of its lack of stability.
If I were you, I would start with a coaxial job, or if you want the "real" deal, go for a bigger helicopter, at least a 450 or 600 size : the bigger the helicopter, the more stable it is, the more stable the easier to learn.
