That looks great. That's some disgusting articulation too. Nice idea to make the arms sort of "tied together" with some thick swaybar looking thing to get it, more or less, to be a "solid axle" so to speak. Neat stuff.

swaybar looking thing is an arm lockout. it's all solid and 3 position adjustable for center clearance.

Would you have even more articulation if you kept the pivoting system and also allowed the arms to move as well?

i thought about that aswell... have the indepentent suspension as well as the 4-link susp. but use like little shocks from a touring car and have them on a soft setting so that they dont way much and provide good damping...

there is trouble with that. it weighs 6 lbs no battery. there is 1.1 lbs sprung weight, and the rest is unsprung. if I spring the suspension arms again I would need sway bars on the center section and this is unnecessary and complicated. you would think that arm suspension also would be a benifit, but it goes 85~ deg around now.. how much more do you want? Plus locked out arms is a simple build. If you try it, let me know.

Hey, it was just a thought rolling around in my head. Just curious is all.
