Just wanted to inform everyone.
Do not order parts from twisted liquid racing,They are a dead beat company.
I ordered almost 200 bucks worth of parts and they decided to only ship half and will not contact me to resolve this issue.
This is not a new thing I have been trying to fix this problem since march but they refuse to answer the phone or e-mail

You might have had better luck going through one of his dealers as they might have had what you needed in stock.
Have you tried joining his forum site? You might get some results by complaining there.

Because we are exstremely busy sometimes orders get lost or screwed up. Most people feel the first thing to do is go to forum and post your bad luck so everyone can feel for you or you get some sort of satisfaction from it.
The fact is most posters arent replied to "In the posters idea of time" by the companies mentioned in these type of post, and because Im on the recieving end of this type of posting, I find only half of the truth is posted. Not saying there was not a issue here in this post, but most complianing are a block long. Telling traggic story of R/C power boat terror. Things like BUYER BEWARE..DONT BUY..and many more I have seen. Now as you see here one poster says issue handled. How about telling how? The bad part about the issue is here to read, but only two words are said when its fixed. As the owner of TLR, I dont appreciate people being told to go to a certian forum and post you might get results. The fact is I have a email james@twistedliquidracing.com Write me your complaint, as you see I get it done. I am responsible for my company right. But Im like everyone else, I got employees and dont see all that is done. So I cant help what I dont know about. Im on every forum on the web, same name every where. TwistedLiquid, no reason you can touch my pm box with a complaint, unless you like to post more. Either way you get the same answer, your problem gets fixed. I dont hang on this forum but visit so often. You can reach me more on www.rtrzone.com or by my email.
As far as some other things I would like to bring up. I do have distributors, we are converting to our products being in hobby stores, not availible from our site. The change takes alot but I also know it will be better over time. I wish some would understand, we are a new up and coming company, we suffer from demand, but I got it under control now, took me over 8 months to get control of it. In the mean time the haters grew more deffensive. When your products make something better, and can prove it not by TALK, but races won, you have a put yourself in a position to grow. I wasnt ready for this growth. To be honest I never thought growth would come for years, just because it was RTR I was offering parts for. With all the hassles I have been given, I still do what I do, TRY TO BE THE BEST. And if you dont like me for that, and hate having to wait or TLR might mess up on a order every once in a while. Then dont buy from my company. We are no different then anyone else out there.
Since one has to mention his buds turn fin, I will mention my buds turn fin too.
Theres also a turn fin that doesnt affect your performance if you do want to go left in your hydro, although not necessary to go left only for correction, but the top performance fin for RTR Vegas is the Slick Stick..and the Mini Razor for Proboats.

Be Careful, "twisted Liquid Racing" May Not Tell You The Truth.
Hello To Everyone, My Name Is Alejandro Gonzalez And I Am A Big Fan And
Supporter Of Rc, Living In Mexico City.
On May 15th, 2007, I Asked A Representative In Customer Service Of
Twisted Liquid Racing If They Could Send Me Some Accessories For My
"miss Vegas" To New York Because Due To Work I Was Going To Travel For
5 Days To The Big Apple. After That, I Received An Email From James
Barringer (the Owner Of The Store) Where He Wrote That Without Any
Problems They Could Send Everything To The Hotel Where I Was Gonna
Stay. In That Same Email He Proposed Me The Possibility Of Being An
Authorized Retailer Of Twisted Liquid Racing Because I Was His First
Client In Mexico. After Thinking About It And After A Few Chats With
James About Price Lists, Accessory Lists And Shipping Options, I Said
Yes To What I Thought Was An Excellent Idea. To Create A Place Where
You Could Easyly Get Rc Stuff In Mexico And James Also Seemed
Trustworthy Those Days. After We Settled An Agreement He Told Me That
It Was Not Necessary To Send The Things To New York. "everything Is
Going To Arrive To Mexico With No Problems", He Said.
On June 8th, 2007, I Made My First Order For Which I Paid $835.00 Usd.
It Included A Thundercat 31 Totally Transformed By Twisted Liquid
Racing And Various Accessories For A Miss Vegas And For A Traxxas.
The Shipment Was Supposed To Arrive In Approximately 20 Days. 4 Weeks
Later James Told Me That The Package Had Been Rejected At Custom
Services Getting Into Mexico And He Asked Me To Don't Get Desperate,
That He Would Divide The Order In Various Packages To Avoid Problems
With Custom Services In Mexico. I Requested Him To Specifically Use Ups
Because I Have Received Many Things From Tower Hobbies Through Them And
I Have Never Had Any Problems. He Did Not Listen And After The Third
Time He Sent The Things Through Regular U.s. Mail Service He Supposedly
Used Fedex But He Never Sent Me A Tracking Number So I Don't Know If
This Even Happened.
I Lost Paypal's Refund Because I Spent Too Much Time Trusting These
Guys And Believing That The Things Will Finally Arrive. After Sending A
Lot Of Emails To James And To Customer Services, Things Started To Get
Darker And They Stopped Answering Me Via Email, Chat And Phone Without
Solving My Problem.
Until Today, On December 2007, I Have Only Received Accessories Wich
Costed $200.00 Usd. And I'm Still Waiting (maybe In Vain) A Refund For
$635.00 Usd.
They Asked Me To Send An Address In The U.s. For Them To Be Easier To
Send The Refund. I Gave Them The Address Of A Relative Who Lives In
Texas And Again After Some Time They Told Me That The Refund Hadn't
Arrived Because The Address A Sent Didn't Exist,of Course That Is Not True... I Give Them The Phone Number Too And Nothing!!. I Requested Them To
Send The Refund Through Paypal And It Was The Same. I Don't Know What
Else To Do To Solve This Situation In An Easy Way, Please Help Me To
Contact The Respective Authorities To Find A Legal Solution. I Know
That It's Gonna Be Complicated To Manage It From Mexico, However I've
Got Copies Of The Invoices, Emails And Chat Sessions That Backup
Everything I'm Telling You.
As A Personal Advise I Want To Recommend You To Be Very Careful In
Picking Where You Will Buy Rc Stuff, Specially If You're Gonna Do It
Outside Of The U.s. Shops Like Tower Hobbies Guarantees You Their
Deliveries And Are Really Compromised In Supporting Their Clients. I
Can't Generalize And Say That Every Case Is The Same With Twisted
Liquid Racing, However, All You Have Read Is Real And Is Happening To
Me, So If I'm Posting This Is Because I Want To Prevent You Of Making
The Same Mistake I Did, Doing Businesses With People That May Not Tell
You The Truth And I Also Want To Get My Money Back; I'm Not Planning To
Give Anything To These People.
I Hope Tlr Finish This Problem As Most Be
Remember, Be Careful And Thanks Very Much As Always.
Greetings From Mexico.

Hi Alex,
It agree with you. I think TLR steal money from customers which live outside the USA...
Ron Olson

Note, no replies from James lately as he must be busy spending customers money!
I'm amazed at how many forum sites that he's been banned from and how many complaints that I've seen on those forum sites about the same old song and dance.
Overloaded on orders? Yes, customers could understand that. Too many shipments lost, sent to the wrong address, tracking numbers that are fake? Dealers of TLR products that are no longer doing business with him? Parts suppliers for him that haven't received their money?
Please, if there are any satisfied customers out there, post away. When he first got the business rolling, yes there were but not since late last year have I seen one good thing said about this company.
It's sad really as a lot of people hoped (myself included) that we finally had an aftermarket supplier of quality parts for our segment of the hobby/sport.
If the Mod's in here would like any links to threads on other forums sites, PM me and I'll provide them to you.
Has anyone that has posted in here with a complaint had the issue resolved yet?

I doubt it. There's power in numbers and all it takes is for folks to join together with their information and hammer this guy. But what do I know.

Hey everyone, here is a chat log that I had with **** about 20 minutes ago. I got home to my **** package which I thought was full of TC31 goodies *excited*. Well I open it up and find everything I ordered but the M445 Prop and Sidewinder fuel. I see a note that says fuel is ground and prop coming soon. I get that. Next the TC31 breakaway rudder is actually a Skater. So I get online and join the online chat to straighten out the problem. Here is the ensuing covno... if you can call it that.
****: Welcome to **** LIVE CHAT. Please understand that we may be helping other customers. Our answers may be delayed due to traffic. Please be patient. I will be right with you.
Jason Carrier: I recently placed a order. I have received everything minus with the exception of the fuel and the prop. I guess they are coming. Instead of the Thundercat 31 Breakaway rudder I got a Skater II for a Blackjack 26. I cannot use this thing at all.
****: ?
Jason Carrier: Hi
****: order name please
Jason Carrier: Jason Carrier
****: hello
thats a big mistake
order name please
Jason Carrier: Yeah no doubt
****: opps
Jason Carrier: I went and checked my Paypal recepit and it says TC31 breakaway on it
****: order name dude
please
i got alot to do here
Jason Carrier: Jason Carrier
****: thanx
one second
ok you got the skater?
Jason Carrier: Yes
****: instead of tc31 rudder
hmmm
Jason Carrier: Indeed
****: ok
return it please
ok let me fix this
and yes the rest of order is coming
ok i need you to return the skater
Jason Carrier: Is there a date on the fuel? I was told I would have that last week..
****: **** po box 998 andover ks
67002
fuel goes ground
so slowerr
will be to you soon
you might have got wrong parts but thats better then what most thing we dont ever send parts
Jason Carrier: does that generally get sent the same day as everything else?
****: no
depends
we ship as we get orders to different departments
its a sssembly line
Jason Carrier: well I was told that was coming first being its not made in house
****: 10k building 11 people
yea it depends
maybe fuel was out attime
you think your only customer wanting fuel
?
Jason Carrier: Nope, I dont think there is any reason to be rude though, this is just what I was told
I think Im being pretty nice considering I got something totally differnt thatn what I ordered
****: well i will tell you what i see what you doing so dont play us for stupid is what im saying
get samrt with me i refund you ass
how you like that jason
Jason Carrier: What you dont think I got a skater? I can send you pics
****: i already see you are trouble
Jason Carrier: How is this? You sent me the wrong item and Im at fault?
****: now you want to fix problem or battle with me
i can help you but stop the attitude stuff
Jason Carrier: I just want what I ordered (rudder) and was asking about the fuel
****: ok great
and im here
to help that issue
so let me type one second
ok skater did you see the return address i typed here
Jason Carrier: Yes
****: ok cool return itto start
now fuel
its coming to you
on ground
Jason Carrier: so when do I get the actual rudder I ordered then?
****: i am shipping today
let me make the order replacement
ok tc31 rudder leaving in 15 minutes
they are packing
ok next issue
got anymore
thats a question
Jason Carrier: Actually, anyway I can just get my money refunded
****: you want a refund i will be glad
to refund you
Jason Carrier: Now that I think about it I rather have the money, I came to you with a legit issue and I feel you blew up on me for something that wasnt my error
****: ok you bet you keep our skater too...good day jason
refunding you now
Jason Carrier: Thanks
****: our products are free t you post that
i bet you wont
Jason Carrier: Post what
****: LOL
So I heard they are hard to deal with and now I see why, whoever I was talking to is very cocky and arrogant. I dont think I was out of line at all and am a pretty patient person if people are straight up with me and tell me the truth. Being hes already refunded my fuel money Im guessing it wasnt shipped like he said it was. Anyone else have a terrible experience like this?

Anyway, For those of you who do not know me, RedBullVegas, OneBadRR22, Shane, Former Dist. for TLR. I know a thing or two about the business in question. I have not posted ANYTHING bad since leaving the company over a year ago. BTW James, my now 12 yr old would still like his boat back, he stopped sitting at the mailbox everyday about 3 months after you said you would ship it back to him.
I feel for all of you who had to deal through me, to get your parts from him. If there are any ill feelings toward me, allow me the opportunity to apologize. The picture he use to use supposedly in support of the MS Foundation, that was real. My mom left this Earth March 26th 2007 and James was somewhat supportive for a few weeks. During that time however, shipping and customer service got so bad, that I finally just gave up. I think he had good intentions, just not the means to come through for everyone.
After it was all over, I tried to recover my sons boat from James only to recieve a threat of coming to visit me and my family. Not necessarily for playing cards or discussing the weather.
My reason for posting, mainly, was to apologize to all of you who may have been done wrong by James, through the distributorship that I ran. And to Ron Olson, PiperChuck (though not seen him around) and any other moderator who has had to scan post after post.
Good luck to all of you, look forward to hearing from any of you.

Raised 24,789 for Miss Stevenson in that MS Mod Vegas...and proud of it. All proceeds went to hopefully help anyone still alive with MS. Links are still on the web. Amazing what people do when you do what they cant for them. I only wanted to raise spirits by bringing light on the horrible decease that took your mom and hopefully save another. Today momma Stevensons boat sits in the same spot it did when the tour was over, in the museum and hasnt moved since 06. Now if Shane wants the boat lets send...address please? Trophies will be sent too, she took alot of them nationwide.
Now for the record shane always loved ya dude but I am sick of the lies. For months you hide your real name and only now tell the world who you really are. I see you apologizing for stuff you didnt do, the kid by the mailbox is so cute but sick at the sametime. Seems funny I would raise money for your dead mother, but steal from your kid...get real. Out repect for all mothers when yours passed Shane, I gave you room to breath and yes that was letting you go. I thought you didnt need the hassle of keyboard racers while dealing with your loss. But I guess I was wrong, maybe you didnt need to room. Who knows today, but lets get you problem solved.

Brother, really wanted to see business take off. Looked like a great opportunity. I didn't cut you down for what you tried to do with MS foundation. The kid by the mailbox, well, I only you and I know the truth to that one. You still think I left you high and dry which is unreal.
You and I could have been 2x the force to recon with. I have told you that even after we parted ways.
I respect what you did for the MS foundation, but disrespect the way the situation was handled during that time.
My name has never been a secret. Never cut you down or even mentioned my troubles online with you until now. I welcome all comments and questions and I will answer them honestly. We can put this behind us. I still support what you are trying to do, just not happy with the way customers are being handled. You got to admit bro, I handled customers pretty well when I had the right tools to get the job done. PM me. Lets talk. Still have not put a boat in the water since mom died by the way. I've made one trip to KS for bro. I would make another to make this right. P.S. I still owe you a dinner.
