New from Quest:
Quest Engineering & Development is now shipping the Smart-Fly PowerExpander Eq10. This PowerExpander incorporates servo matching on all ten of the unit’s channels. The unit features three servo outputs per channel on eight of the unit’s channels and four servo outputs on two of the unit’s channels (which correspond to the rudder channels on Futaba and JR receivers). The unit incorporates all the features of our popular Equalizer servo matchers plus a few enhancements that make setting up the ten channel unit easier. The Equalizer “Option Mode” functions built into the unit include channel reset, channel calibrate, servo priority mode (for setting up multiple servos on a single surface) and endpoint-hold mode (so you can take your hands off the transmitter when setting the endpoints). In addition we included a reset unit command, to reset the whole unit and a unit calibrate mode, which calibrates all the servo channels at once. The unit allows you to reverse any servo and adjust each servo’s centering and each endpoint individually. All the programming controls are built into the unit so there is nothing extra to buy and nothing to lose. In addition, PowerExpander Eq10 has all the features of our PowerExpander Pro. These include our dual Smart-Sense power inputs, which utilize Deans Ultra Plug connectors, and operation with an optional failsafe switch when used with NiCd/NiMH batteries. The unit is 4 ˝ inches long, 3 inches wide, weighs 3.0oz and is priced at $249.95. Quest Engineering can be reached by phone at (480) 460-2652 or on the web at www.Smart-Fly.com.
