This is I.E. from Barcelona, Spain. I enjoy reading your magazine, it is not easy to find such complete hobby magazines written in spanish. Iwould like to ask a question:
I have a gorgeous T6-Texan from kyosho. It flies very well but it is a .46 size and I powered it with a Saito .80.....
I can fly only for less than 4,5 minutes safely.
The place for the fuel tank is small and I can't replaze the original tank by a bigger one.
I'm thinking about using two fuel tanks connected by a "T" junction in the fuel line...
Do you have previous experience about doing that ?
Best regards and congratulations for your high quality magazine.
I.E.
Dear Sr. E.,
The use of two fuel tanks is pretty common practice with the Ducted fan Giant Scale Pylon racers, etc., that require a large quantity of fuel. However, using a "T" fitting in the fuel line does not work well. The correct procedure is to use muffler pressure connected to the 2nd tank and connect the 2nd tank fuel pick up line to the vent of the 1st tank. Fill through the carburetor fuel line and vent the 2nd tank. Good flying
