I am starting on a new project for a large pool toy. I will be mounting a mamba mini car system in it and a 2s 2.1k mah lipo. I am curious if I would be better off running the boats current drive hard wear with a high revving motor or switch to a direct drive unit so I can run a larger prop and a motor with more torque. My number one priority is to have a boat that can get out of the water in a hurry and get up to speed in a pool, while keeping the fun driving style of that little boat.
