I'm having a problem getting my Zenoa 260 running right, i've tried adjusting the fuel mixture, it will run smooth at low speeds but then when I go to open it up it starts missing until it finally stalls. My owners manual says to use 90 octane or higher but the guys at Bonzi said it will run better on 89 or 87 octane. Has anyone had this or similar problems, any help would be appreciated

Start with both needles at 1-1/2 turns out and use 87 octane gas or camp stove fuel. Use the NGK plug if it didn't come with one and ditch the Champion if that's what it has. The Champion is fine for air-cooled engines but not water-cooled.

Ron's right, there!
I was an Auto Electrician for 11 years Mazda Rotaries only worked with NGK plugs
Bosch, Champion, Nippon Denso, etc were ALL JUNK
A shame, as we were a BOSCH agency!
NGK was the ONLY one to hanle high RPM without breakdown/degredation of spark
The only other way to get a "FAT" spark is with a magneto - not recommended for radios!! = WAY TOO MUCH R.F.I.
You live and learn :)

Thanks for your help. Who sells the NGK plugs for the Zenoah?

I finally got it right, it looks like the mixture on my motor is 2 turns on the low needle and 1 and an eighth on the high needle, 2 pulls on the rope and away we go.
