Exchange Rate - Multiply the price by 1.16. $300 x 1.16% = $350
+ Duty - Add about $100-$150 = $450 to $500
+ Shipping - Add $35-$65 = ~$500+

You'll still need a radio, receiver, servos and an engine and other misc. parts.

heheh, i only order from AMAINhobbies.com and they by far offer the best service around.

$300US at todays rate is $330CND

there is no duty fees. You just pay the taxes federal and provincial.

So on $330 you pay $41.06 (both taxes)

shipping is subjective depending on how quick you want it and how much stuff weighs.

USPS is the best method of shipping as you wont be charged a handling fee. You can use express 3 to 5 day or 5 to 10 day air mail.

UPS and American Express charge up the butt for handling fees. Don't bother with them unless you absolutely have to.

I would highly recommend not using UPS as your shipping method b/c they charge a brokerage fee of at least $25, so just use the USPS not UPS method. Amainhobbies is the bomb!!
Also check out greathobbies.com (they are in PEI and only charge one tax!! shipping is pretty good as well)

I think you mean + taxes, there are no customs on hobby stuff, just taxes (which we have to pay anyway) and those damn brokerage fees (handling)
