pearl copper ?

ok gang i have this 1/10th mcallister ford body that i want to paint pearl copper.the paint have is pearl copper by createx.i plan on doing the bumbers and grill in satin chrome by faskolor!whats the best way to back the copper to get the color!i wanted to go copper with black flames?lmk what u think?thanx

Hey Fes, I'd back the copper with either silver or gold to bring out the metallic-ness of the copper.

Be sure to post pics of it when you're done!

Fester, why guess? Do a sample of each option on a scrap piece and see what your results are. I did a black body with copper stripes for a guy, and I actually backed the copper with red to get the true copper look I wanted (Faspearl copper paint was used). I used a fairly bright new penny as a color sample to guide my options.

i am not feeling the whole copper color with the flames,any suggestions, i could dump the flames?

pearl purple with flo. orange or florsent green flames??
