what exactly is "sportsman" class?

To qualify for the sportsman class the driver must not be sponsored in any way, shape or form.

From Matt Afana, taken from the RC Tech thread:

On the sportsman class situation,

The rule is, if you have a chassis sponsorship in buggy or truggy(that includes 50%or 75%), you are not allowed to run sportsman. I would hope that the pros (and we know who you are!) sign up for pro and not sportsman class. But as in every race someone will always have a problem with something, as someone once told me "you can't save the world", but together we can all try!

I hope we can all come together for a great race and event!
