We test flew the new giant-scale Super Decathlon powered by an OS FS-200S 4-stroke engine. The plane flew great with scale speed and sound. The full review will be in Sept MAN.

Plane looks very nice.

However, I wish the mfgs, especailly of the larger planes, would put the servos inside the fuselage.

It would be very easy to install the servos in the servo tray that's already in the fuselage and run the pushrods out to the tail - just leave the covering in place over the servo cutouts. I chose to build it with the servos in the tail to keep the review as accurate as possible and it also has the advantage of a short direct linkage. With my set up the plane balanced with no additional weight.

I have put on some more flights on the Super Decathlon and it's a really nice flying plane. I switched from 15% nitro to 30% and it made a big differrence in the OS 200 four stroke.

I was thinking about mounting a G-38 to it. Do you think it will fit OK?

I don't have a G-38 on hand to check, but I think this would be a good match for the plane. The cowl is pretty big and the engine would have more than enough power.
