At last, a foam insert that fits your needs and your tire’s needs. Pro-Line introduces the MTR Molded foam for MTR Series 1:8 truck Tires. Performance, durability, time savings, and value are all benefits you will come to love over traditional foam inserts.

Performance – Performance is gained over traditional foam inserts by a longer life span. The insert maintains its shape and firmness for a longer period of time.

Durability – Molded foams simply outlast die cut foams.

Time savings – No more do you have to cut the foam to better fit into your tire. Simply insert and you are ready to go.

Value – Pro-Line molded foams are now being included in all MTR tires at no additional charge. If you’re looking to add them to another type of tire, the cost is about 25% more for more than 200% life expectancy gain.

When you’re looking to endure the hour long A-main event or simply looking for a longer-lasting insert for backyard bashing, Pro-Line’s new MTR Molded Foam is for you.

· Long lasting
· Easy to install – no trimming necessary
· Included in the latest batches of Standard Series MTR tires from Pro-Line
· Race proven

I don't understand why they can't include these things with the tires to begin with. I don't really like aftermarket parts. Especially on tires. We go through tires fast enough anyway. Why make us spend an extra $18 per set when they could just put it in the stupid package and make more people happy? They'd probably sell more that way anyway.

What tires don't they come in? All standard monster truck tires come w/ them nowadays, at least that I've seen.

The thing that pisses me off is that both of my sets of Moabs, stickered at damn near $40 a PAIR, still come with old crappy foam. They're big, heavy, take tons of abuse, and generally get mounted on vehicles that are big, heavy, and take a ton of abuse. Why do I have to make do w/ crap foam in the most expensive tires that Pro-Line sells? And even worse...when the foam does wear out, I can't buy new ones. They don't even sell big 40 series foam separately as far as I know.

did you get them at a LHS? if so they could be old stock, I know when the moulded foams first came out, I got a set of crime fighters, and one pair had the new foams, and the other had the old,

also these are new foams, they are shaped to fit inside the grooves in the MTR tires, the original moulded foams were flat

I have two sets of MTRs which came with the previous generation molded foam...anyway I'm surprised how much HEAVIER they are than the MT's which had the old-school cheezy foams. Why are the Molded foams so much heavier?

the formed foams are CLOSED CELL...(they dont trap dirt as easily as the old OPEN CELL foams did......just vent the tires and you're good to go.

Did any of you read the entire press release?
Maybe I misundertand what you all are complaining about, if so I apologise for my apparent snide-ness....but just in case I do understand...
