The can on the left is obviously a wd-40 can with the logos removed, but is the one on the right an old can of barbasol shaving cream? I've never needed pin-point accurate application of shaving cream.

Ya I wish I was sooner too. One time I was using silicone lubricant and I was spraying, as happy as can be and the straw ejected and flew about 6 or 7 feet into the grass on my lawn. That straw, like many others before it was never found again.

It's a handyman's horror story.

here's a better idea....cut that red tube into 1 inch pieces.....the spray is better,and you don't have to worry about losing the straw...cause you can FIT THE CAP ON.....plus you have spares...this way ypu can save your money for REAL useful racing equipment ....the vantage carbon fiber stand..:roll2:

How interesting that Mr. Petey posts this. I just bought a can of electric motor cleaner/lube/mojo juice stuff. Lo and behold...it has a red straw! The cap has an indentation to firmly secure said straw in place though... And when that fails..coffee stirrers ahoy (along with some duct tape).

Good invention though. WD40 has become synonymous with losing the "red straw of dooooooooom".....errrr at least in my household.

I actually have one of those (in yellow) and they are pretty handy. I've been using the same straw for the last 15 or so cans of motor spray. I don't even take the straw out of the tape on new cans anymore.

I'm with Mark, I've got the Hold Its on my motor spray and Trinity Body Blast cans. And last night, I used one as a rubber band to glue tires!

I bought the flip-up WD-40 too--I got it with a WD-40 pen shrink-wrapped to it, which I love--I use the pen to "paint" my CVDs with WD-40 without spraying the whole car.
