Just spotted this on the Hobby People site (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/158300.asp), just $40 for 8.5 amps in a toolbox-friendly size complete with cooling fan. No other info on the site yet, but I think I covered it all anyway!

WOW! That is one incredible price for a PS with some purdy good stats.

I might just have to up my Super Brain's capabilities with this one...

40 bucks!? Oooooooh! Any time I found a 40 dollar power supply, it was always a rinky dink 3 amp or something. I think this needs further investigation.;)

Sounds like a nice PS. And a great size to.

I wonder how it would work with my Triton Jr.?

HAHA! I'll re-review the Rustler, Stampede, or Bandit VXL ya know....;):D

Do you guys get to keep the stuff you review, or do you have to play nicely and give it back (I can only imagine how much stuff you have Peter)?

I dunno, even though i think its $20 more (or $10 more when its on sale), id say for the price @ 20amps...its super sweet.

But hey, i guess that little 8.5amp guy would do fine, especially paried with like...those $50 Piranha digital chargers. Even more so if it goes on sale :P

doesnt duratrax have a similar one? Hmm, found it on tower, its only 7amps. Go ProPeak!

Yeah, this one is great, but I do have the Propeak 20A one that Helgaiden linked and it's been flawless.
