now i noticed that the parma airbrush only comes with a line to hook up to a compressor. can i get a line to hook up to the can of air and if soo which one. only because i dont have the money to buy a compressor right now.
thanks

my advice is to save up for the compressor the cans of air finish quickly and the coast adds up fairly quickly.
good compressors can be found at most major chain stores as well as at harbour freight for under 100$ with 2 gallon tanks.
if you have access to a spare car tire you'd be better off going that route for an air source it will last longer then any can of air ever would and the small 12v compressors can be had fairly cheap usually under 20$

ok well i have a few spare tires from my car because i put aftermarket rims on it so there just the normal tires of of a car. will the hookup and the line from parma fit the valve on the tire or will i need to buy a different line still. if soo which one and where form
thanks

your going to need an adaptor to fit the hose to the air stem on a car tire.
last time I saw someone do it they had a locking airvalve (I guess from an old tire pump) clamped to an old airbrush hose then on to their brush. that setup worked for them for about a year till they finally broke down and brought a decent compressor.

I would have gone with something from Iwata personally. I used Paasche and Badger for years. You can get a nice Iwata for cheap, and they are the best around. Maybe you can get one once you get used to using an airbrush. Canned air is far inferior to a compressor. It freezes up and looses pressure quickly.

i actually do have a compressor. its not a small one though. its a husky 135 psi that we use in my garage but can be turned down to 40 psi if needed. so thats what im going to use.

I have the same, or nearly the same, airbrush. The F-1 is actually a slightly modified version of the Thayer & Chandler Vega 2000, which is what I own. I bought it new on eBay for $29 shipped. I haven't painted a body with it yet because I'm still practicing on paper, trying to learn control and how diluting affects your spray pattern. I've found there is a lot more to airbrushing than just pointing and spraying. I'm liking the challenge though.
