Some more Custom fit Decals made by simply scanning the Dairy Delivery on a home printer.
The FIRE is made by laying down colored spots or lines and then using the Smudge Tool in PhotoShop at different sizes, layers and pressures.
You create a duplicate layer, move the duplicate up in front of the Coat Of Arms, lower the opacity and it looks like the Logo is right in the middle of the fire.
Nothing like PhotoShop for great Decals.
Lots of filing and sanding to smooth out the DD.
Window openings, wheel wells and especially the two openings in the rear for the base to slip back into.
The Headlights and blinkers are ground off and drilled out to inlay 4mm clear Rhinestones and 2mm Topaz.
Then the front end is sanded smooth and round removing the ever present ugly ridge across the DD's nose.
Adhesion Promoter, Grey primer and then Fine Orion Silver.
Next a light Clearcoat full of heavy Silver flakes to give a coarse metalflake appearance.
This coarse metalflake is what shines through the Decals like they're backlit.
Roof, lower half and side panels are taped off with Tamiya Modeling Tape and the whole thing is shot HOK Planet Green.
Tape is removed, Red 1/64 trim tape and Decals applied, front and rear windshield trim and Rhinestones inlaid and the whole thing is Clearcoated with a dash of Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.

Wheels are from the recent Jada AC Cobra.
Axles needed shortening and the axle channels of the DD Base had to be enlarged and deepened to lay in 1/16 Copper tubing so the wheels would turn.
Rivet reassembly.
The tiny specs seen in the Photos are all the Pearl Powder.
I think with a softer light and moving the camera back I'll be able to avoid all the reflection.
