I've yet to see Coats Of Arms or Family Crests used on Diecast.
Been working with PhotoShop for some time to create a good Crest/Coat Of Arms to use for T-Shirts.
This casting was the Chocolate and Tan '62 Van by Jada.
They're not too abundant around here and the Joe's Diecast has the plastic insert in the roof so it would have to be filled and sanded.
This is a great casting with plenty of room for graphics.
Starting off it's real clean when stripped. Not much to file or sand besides window openings and wheel wells.
As always Headlights are shaved and drilled, blinkers removed.
First comes Adhesion Promoter, Fine Orion Silver primer and then 2 coats of Shimrin White basecoat.
Next two coats of SnowWhite Pearl and a light clearcoat.
Taped and trimmed with HOK Platinum.
Then the whole thing is lightly clearcoated with a dash of Interference Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
5mm Rhinestones inlaid for realistic Headlights.
Decals, details and 1/64" chrome tape encircling roof.
Finally it's entirely Clearcoated with a shot of Brilliant Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
Taillights created in PhotoShop.
The DubCity lettering comes off the rear window real easy with a little use of progressive 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000 wet sandpaper and then polishing with windshield polish.
