I have and old prather 31" outboard deepvee which i am finally getting around to redoing. i just ordered my new parma airbrush to paint it. it only has a white primer on it right now. i am thinking about orange with a black checkered flag on the side but im am still undecided.

Looks good, I had a Commander 46" pretty much same hull just longer, was a solid boat Keep us updated:)

i finally got my graphics on but im just waiting for the clear to dry to take some pics. i cant decide if i want decals or not. also where is a good place to get some scale race drivers for the boat?? hope to have pics tonight.

Nice looker Savage, I think the color is SWEEEEEEET! Did you want true figures or just pilots dummies? If it is dummies you want ProBoat might fit the build, only thing is you have to buy the cockpit to snag the pilots.... http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PRB3106

finally got some pics of the finished product. im happy with it. its a 31" prather deep vee with two!!! K&B 3.5 outboards on it. i have only driven it twice and i needed trim tabs. finally got those and hope to try it tommorow. what do you guys think???

Hey nice paint job. Was just wondering what you used to paint the boat (air brush, paint pot) and also what paint. I have nearly finished my Dumas Miss Circus and am getting ready to paint. It is a wooden boat.

i actually used a parma f-1 airbrush. for the orange i used faskolor faspearl orange. the white was just faskolor faswhite, and the black was faskolor faspearl black. i also used a model masters clear coat enamel for a clear. holds up really well and is nitro safe. you will need a clear if you use faskolor pains seeing as they are water based.
