I am stuck here in Illinois. I have a family and a business. So, flying out for it would be a stretch. Basically I am doing all I can to get my car running as well as I can as quick as I can. If my car looks very promissing and I can finish all refining in time, I may show up last minute.

I purchased a used car in Utah, will be flying in to Salt Lake City to get the car, going to a local hobby shop to pick up the RC cars that I shipped there from home and continuing to the competition. Will have a minumum of 2 entries.

Hmm, that is my thought too.
Nic keeps priming me with "C'Mon Matt, you gotta come. You have a shot at the record!" Ya, right!
Nic has some serious hardware, more time to work on his stuff, and a tenacity that is rarely seen.
I am privileged to know him. I think he is going to be VERY hard to get close to.

so theres 4 people going so far. Any more? Im sure other people will be going, just dont wanna post and there was like 5 or 6 other people that went last year that didnt say they were going to the comp.
