Axial Bead Locks dont fit Losi Zombie-Max tires? what gives

So a friend of mine just bought some Axial 8 Hole Bead Lock Monster Truck Wheel (Black Chrome) (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_26_57/products_id/11857) (tired of gluing tires and rims) and some Team Losi Zombie-Max Monster Truck Tires (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_26_58/products_id/4793) and he says they don’t fit? I go this information straight from their descriptions.

"The Zombie-Max fits all popular monster truck wheels and is designed to be used on both the front and rear of your monster truck"

"The 8 Hole Oversize wheels will fit directly on to the Savage X, Tmaxx and Revo, and fit all Axial oversize tires as well as Pro-Line 40 series tires."

From my understanding these rims will fit pretty much anything. I’m still fairly new to r/c’s, so go easy on me. I haven’t done much research into rims/tires yet as I haven’t had to do any replacements on mine.

Z-Maxxs are 3.2 or so and Axial rims are 4.0 size.

Fitting on the savage, revo and t-maxx is simply referring to the 14mm hex.

Saying it fits oversize tires and Pro-lines 40 series tires is what got you. Zombie maxx tires are standard size MT tires, whereas 40 series tires have a larger inside diameter. You need to find beadlocks that will fit standard size MT tires, or pick up some 40-series sized tires.

if you can't return them toss one or the other up on ebay you should get the most for them there

i don't know if they are standard size they will 40 serrries are larger than standard i would ask the guy at the hobby shop they know tons about there products

He wanted the Axails because of the black chrome look and eventually is going to get some of those grey skull rings for them.

He was able to get a hold of the GREAT people at amainhobbies and they gave a RMA for the losis, and he picked up the 40 series moabs. so everything should be good to go now.

BTW for my own intrests, I wasnt aware that losi made actual beadlocks. Just those lookalike locks.
