You might have to go through the Kyosho America web site to get it or find a Kyosho dealer.
Yes, it is a very good boat but I don't know if the cost is justifiable. A friend of mine was working in Japan as an English teacher and was running his boats at the same pond that Kyosho uses to test their boats. He got to drive the original that was the first version that was owned by the President of Kyosho and drove it in the Japanese version of our Internat's. The boat met an untimely death later on.
That version came with an Octura prop already installed (an X-440/3 I believe) but the first version he felt suffered from the composite strut and rudder and advised upgrading those parts. The second version should have some upgrade work done to it.
By the way, the boat won its class at that race!

I'm guessing that the Kevlar and other components are what's adding to the cost as it does come with some hardware already installed. That alone can add another $100.00 plus to any boat. What is being shown might be retail so ask around to see what the actual cost might be.
I'd say that it has to be good if it won at the JMPBA Nat's as they run more exotic boats there and to win it has to be up there with the best of them.
