anybody running a spool in the back i am and i wondered if anyone was breaking and twisting axles.

Good question i was thinking about putting one in the rear of my T-Maxx.

Depending on what type of surface you plan to run it on.... loose dirt or sand should be fine for the spool.
I plan on running one when I go to the sand... with paddles:D

wouldnt it b good in grass, or dirt to slide around the turns better while still maintaining good power to the rear?

it works great on anything but jumps cause if you land with power or unicycle it then the axle WILL break.

im not gonna b takin it off any big jumps, most bout 1-2 ft of air.

A friend of mine has run spools in his Maxx and destroyed every cvd brand known to man kind but I do believe it is his driving style. If your differentials are unloading that bad you need spools I think it is time to get some thicker oil or grease if thats what it uses.

Has anybody locked the rear diff. in the new savage? If so how did youdo it?

so u can use thicker oil to get the same result as a spool. but still use a light enough oil so its not completly locked?
