Here are my current projects, I was (and still am) a big nitro guy, but I needed a change so I started to put some brushless cars together to see how they compare.

Wow, u are lucky to have 5 conversions! nice work! u never said how u feel the brushless compares to the nitro cars?? most say that their conversions will out run and out power the nitros??

al, I am a former motocross rider so I love the sound and smell of nitro. I race nitro truggys on the weekends and I love my nitro cars/trucks. But you know what the brushless buggy/truggy's are faster and for me a good change of pace from nitro (and a lot of fun). I like both and usually take all (nitro/brushless) my cars out to the track for practice. I like to tinker so keeping a nitro car running is no problem for me, but sometimes you just don't want to deal with all that so I just throw in a lipo and away I go with (brushless car).

i have been around dirtbikes and quads and offroad race trucks all my life so i too love the sound of an engine but i have just never enjoyed it in an RC car application. i have always perferred electric when i came to R/C. (now u have me imagining tearing through the dunes on an eletric torque monster dirt bike hmmmm haha maybe i wud like that better too.. nah.:D)
dont get me wrong i enjoy tinkering too. Puttting batt packs together and soldering has always been fun to me, working out a little math equationsfor volts/RPM stuff like that. Electric has its tinkering too, just in less greasy fashion! cheers
