I was wondering if anyone has ever used a Gyro to help with steering on an RC car? If so what you use it in and did you like it or not?

I have a GMS 14 Funny Car and was thinking a Gyro may be very helpful to keep it in a straight line. Sometimes it gets hard to control at high speeds.

Thanks -

I have one on my speed car. It works great. For you I would suggest a futaba gy401 gyro. Its what I use and works great.

I have been running gyros for over a year. Yes, gyros work very well. The better the gyro, the faster speed you can get while still retaining good control.

I love my Futaba GY611. But, it is very expensive. A 401 is a good option for alot less money.
